All digital piece. Scarlet Lotus is a busty super-heroine created by the very talented UROBOROS [link]
Love his design sense when it comes to creating characters, so this is my TIP O' THE HAT to him. Check his gallery out.

Anyway, choose her as the subject for practice using Photoshop. Spent some time playing with brushes and effects...basically just painted right onto the lineart layer. Fun to add the effects at the end and show her world is getting fuzzy, closing in on her as she's about to pass out.

I cannot believe it, everything is brilliant in the drawing. The embrace, the bottle of chloroform, Scarlett's expression and the hand tacando his chest Is brilliant!!! :D :D :D

Wow thanks! My stuff was mainly pencils on paper before so I'm in a whole new world creating works digitally. And this is all experimentation so far. Even though I consider this piece as playing around, it's certainly the most elaborate pinup (use of media) I've ever created.

I know! I've been watching you for a long time and I practice inking and colouring on your stuff. I won't post anywhere without permission (and links ;)) and I haven't made anything worth bothering to ask :lol:

Anywho, It's been great watching you transition to a new medium and I think you are switching over very niceley :D Are you enjoying working digitally?

I was very worried about jumping into the digital art pool for a long time. At this point I've been working in it for 5 months...never going back. It's very liberating to be able to instantly retry any stroke, color, idea as you go.
